Our Cartoonist/Comedian Son

Benjamin, our oldest son, has quite a gift for drawing and a CRAZY sense of humor. He see's something funny in the wierdest things and it often gets him in trouble especially when he is goofing during schooltime! He is a hard kid to discipline because the whole time I am trying to be serious, he is cracking joke after joke trying his best to get me to smile. I hate to admit it, but he succeeds many times! What to do with a kid like him?! LOL! Here is a post dedicated to him, his drawings and his humor. Enjoy!

Ben Incident #1: Danny took the kids to go see the animals at the 4-H displays. And the whole time, Ben was disgusted by the smell and was holding his nose. Danny asked him what would he do if we ever moved onto a farm and had animals that smelled? Ben replied that he would just take duct tape and tape their behinds shut!

Ever since Ben was 3 yrs old, he has been FASCINATED with monster trucks. He began to try his best to draw them and begged anybody who would to draw a monster truck for him. He soon learned how to draw his own monster trucks and has moved on to hot-rod cars, super heroes ans most recently Transformers.

Here is a Veggie Tale picture in honor of Caleb's infactuation with the silly veggies.
It hangs over Caleb's crib and he loves it!

Here is Bumblebee, his fav Transformer. He is hoping
that Santa will bring him for Christmas!

Here are all of his Transformer pics.
Please excuse that nasty black spot!
We have tried everything to get rid of it!
We are going to have to break down and
buy a new camera.

He has invented many comic strip stories. Here
is the Title page of one of them.

Here is a Treasure map that he created. He used real sand and seashells from Florida ;o)

Here he is showing more of his art work. The
pic on the right is a cartoon of a guy getting blown up
and one of his famous monster trucks on the other side.

Here is our comedian/cartoonist playing daredevil
at the TOP of the monkeybars.
Ben Incident#2: Ben had a bad bloody nose one day and I found him standing over the trashcan
letting his nose drip. I asked him what he was doing and why was he not at the sink? He looked at me and said in the most pitiful voice, " I don't know, I am just falling apart!"
