Thanksgiving Memories

What a relaxing, fun and memorable Thanksgiving we enjoyed! We went to my parents house and they invited 2 older bachelor brothers from our church who did not have anywhere to go for Thanksgiving dinner to join our feast! My sister and brother-in-law were not able to join us this year and we missed them lots! Matt and Presley were there too and we enjoyed a HUGE moist, juicy turkey, mashed potatoes with gravy, green bean casserole, dressing, sweet potato casserole, noodles, cranberry salad, a fruit platter, crackers and cheese, homemade cinn. bread, salad and 2 pies, cheesecake and angel food cake with icecream! As I said, a 'FEAST'! Noone went away hungry! We have a family tradition that we all go around the table and share what we are thankful for and then we sang the chorus to Great Is Thy Faithfulness. Truly, God has blessed us far more than we deserve and I am so thankful for His many blessings!

Presley with all the kids. We all love her and
will miss her when we move!

Uncle Matt enjoyed showing Caleb

how to play the piano! Aww!

The piano keys fascinated Caleb!

Becca showing Uncle Matt her piano skills. She

is doing very well and has even composed a song!

Our afternoon activities included......

.climbing the walls...they do this on a regular basis

and I did the same thing when I was young! ;o)

Ben climbed pretty high!

Dominoes were a BIG hit throughout the afternoon..

...for building towers...

...Roger and Ben built a road...

....and we all had lots of fun playing Chicken

Tracks late into the afternoon!

Thanks Dad and Mom for a great Thanksgiving!

We love you both very much and cherish our family

dinners together!
