Enjoying the Memories!

We truly do not realize just how much we take things for granted until they are GONE! We have been keeping this thought in mind as we enjoy these last few weeks in Indiana. We have been praying for God to let us move on the 22nd and since our place has not sold yet, it does not look like we will be leaving when we had planned. We are a little bit disappointed, yet we know that God has our very best in mind and His ways and timing are so much better than our own. We were able to experience and enjoy the first Indiana snowfall of the season today! Yes, it was just a light dusting and it only lasted for a few hours, but it was beautiful! Danny and Ben wasted no time in getting into a snowball fight! I, an innocent bystander, ended up getting pelted with a big, icy snowball that my mischievous husband dared to throw! ;o) I had to capture the beauty of the trees and fields covered in the pretty white stuff! If we could just have the snow without the cold, freezing wind...brrr! Florida sunshine will be a welcome change!

These trees are in our neighbors backyard.

I took this one while driving down the road....

We also enjoyed our church's annual Thanksgiving dinner. The tables were decorated very pretty but I did not think to get a pic until after we had sat down and the effect was ruined by then. I did get a couple candid shots.....

Becca and Ben at our table hamming it up.

Two little boys named 'Caleb'! Aren't they sweet?!

Ben was a little antsy while waiting for his food

and put his napkin over his head and said he was

a 'Pumpkin'. He is our family 'clown'!

Caleb was quite content to play in his seat while

we ate and fellowshipped.

Amanda C. entertained him while I finished

eating.

Teresa S. had fun playing with Caleb as well.

She has a new grandson due next month :o)

We had art class last Friday and Ben and Abby wanted pics taken of their projects. Ben made a Buzz Lightyear out of construction paper and Abby and mommy made a little basket that she decorated and carried her baby stuff in all day. She called it her 'Sleeping Beauty Basket'. Abby loves Sleeping Beauty!

Showing off their work!
The finished projects.

We decided to try baby cereal with Caleb and here is how it went....

He only ate a few spoonfuls and then spit it out and would not eat anymore. We have tried it one time since and added peaches with it..he hated it! Oh well, we will try again soon....
Here is a few more pics of our growing baby...

I love this one! He looked so sweet and sat up so good!

Check out those dimples!
Please keep our family in your prayers as we continue to pack and wait on God's timing for our move. Thank-you!

Loved the video! I think he is looking a lot like Ben now. We have not gotten enough snow to stick at all. I also enjoyed Caleb sitting up with the bears behind him, I saved that one to my PC.
