Flowers Blooming For Jesus: Back from Tennessee!

We are back and we had a GREAT time! We saw some beautiful scenery and our condo we stayed in was very nice! God helped Danny tell about his trip to the Islands and their church people gave us a generous offering. Thank-you Easley Bible Methodist Church! Danny has a goal amount that he hopes to raise for HIM and possibly to fund another trip to the islands. We will see what God's plan is...
We also want to say a BIG thank-you to Carolyn Aiken! She made us a delicious spaghetti and meatball supper and sent yummy brownies for the road! We al enjoyed visiting with you and hope to see you again soon!
We also enjoyed spending lots of time with G-pa and G-ma Dunn! They brought bubbles, coloring books and stuffed animals for the kids and that kept them busy while us adults were able to relax! We went to Pigeon Forge on Mon. and visited the Wonderworks Museum and the Applebarn. The kids really loved the Wonderworks! The building is an upside-down one on top of another building! Pretty cool inside and full of scientific, hands-on stuff! We liked the 'Bubble room' a lot! We ate at the Applebarn restaurant and enjoyed some delicious food! G-pa Dunn REALLY loved the Apple Fritters! We were lucky to get some for ourselves..LOL! They brought us a basketful and homemeade apple butter to dip them in....Mmmm good!
Tuesday, we drove over to Sweetwater to take the Lost Sea tour. A really cool cave that has an underground sea in it. We had to walk waaayy down and then all the way back up..whew! We were exhausted! It was a once-in-a-lifetime tour for me! And of course, when we were deep in the heart of the cave Abby had to use the bathroom! Don't ask what we did...let's just say that she got relief! LOL!
Wed. morning, we said Goodbye to G-pa and G-ma Dunn :o( And then we drove to Easley, S.C.
We ate supper at Carolyn's and went to the service. From there we drove back to Crossville,TN. We got back about 2 A.M. and we fell into bed and slept in Thur. We finally arrived back home in IN about 10:30 Thursday evening. Back at home and back to the busy daily grind! Thank God for vacations!
